This couple was sitting by the side of a fountain in the downtown. They were seated at a round table, with all of their belongings by their side on the ground, none of which seemed worth much money. There were many empty cups on the table. Realizing I was watching them, they waved a friendly hello to me and asked if I could play Chinese Kung Fu. They came from New York with a truck driver that offered to give them a ride. He took them to a lot of major cities in America by his truck, until they arrived in Gainesville, where they decided to stop to continue their journey. Taking shelter at the entrance of a church, their biggest dream was to have their own home.
